Humic acid

a humic substance · the larger fraction

The larger, less-mobile sibling of fulvic acid within the humic-substance family — a carrier co-fraction rather than an isolated additive.

01 · Definition

What it is

Humic acid is one of the three humic substances, alongside fulvic acid and humin. It has a higher molecular weight than fulvic acid and is less soluble at low pH — chemically the bigger, slower relative.
