Terms of Use
The rules for using ascentials.co: short, specific, and written to be read.
01Agreement
These Terms are an agreement between you and ASCENTIALS (“we”, “us”) covering your use of ascentials.co, ascentials.ca and any related forms or emails (together, the “Site”). By using the Site, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
02Pre-launch status
Nothing is for sale yet. ASCENTIALS products are in development. Each product will be sold only after Health Canada licenses it as a Natural Health Product and issues a Natural Product Number (NPN). Formulas, formats, sizes, availability and pricing may change before launch.
Joining the waitlist or founding batch is free. It is not an order, a pre-payment or a guarantee of supply. Founding allocation and founding pricing are offered at our discretion, and the terms in place at launch will apply.
03Information, not medical advice
Content on the Site, including the Codex, Archive and Field Notes, is general educational information about materials, sourcing and packaging. It is not medical advice and does not claim that any product diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any disease. Speak with a qualified healthcare practitioner before starting any supplement, especially if you are pregnant, nursing or taking medication.
We work to keep the content accurate and cite our sources, but we do not guarantee that it is complete or up to date.
04Using the Site
You agree not to:
- Submit false information or sign up anyone else without their permission.
- Interfere with the Site’s security, forms or servers, or try to get around our spam protections.
- Scrape, copy or republish the Site in bulk.
- Use the Site for anything unlawful.
05Intellectual property
The ASCENTIALS name, the Spine × Target mark, label designs, photography, text and code on the Site belong to ASCENTIALS or its licensors. You may view the Site and share links to it. Any other use requires our written permission.
06Orders (once sales open)
When products become available, orders will be subject to the prices, taxes, shipping and returns terms shown at checkout. If those terms conflict with these Terms, the checkout terms apply to that order. Ontario consumer protection law applies to consumer purchases, and nothing in these Terms limits your rights under it.
07Third-party links
The Site may link to studies, suppliers and other sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
08Disclaimer & liability
The Site is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties about the Site and are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of it. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
09Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction, unless consumer protection law in your province gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
10Changes & contact
We may update these Terms. When we do, the new version will be posted here with a new revision and effective date. Continuing to use the Site after that means you accept the updated Terms.
