What it is
Redox is short for reduction–oxidation: the transfer of electrons from one molecule to another. A molecule that gives up electrons is oxidized; one that gains them is reduced.
Humic substances, including fulvic acid, are studied in soil and environmental chemistry because they can both accept and donate electrons. This entry describes that chemistry; it is not a claim about any ASCENTIALS product.
